Dad Knows Best.

For many people I know, this is the first Fathers day they have had as fathers themselves. Nic hit me up a few weeks ago with some ideas for Fathers day pictures for Jeff and Charles. Given that they are both die hard fans of their football teams of choice, and also the biggest fans of baby Knox, we decided to combine the two for the most perfect of Fathers Day presents. For anyone who knows Jeff, and even those who dont know him very well, it doesnt take long to figure out what a die hard Ducks fan he is. And you bet your sweet tush that he is going to make sure to lead the way for Knox to be also. Charles, however, is the biggest of big fans of Alabama Rolltide so we had to get Knox reppin gramps colors too. We even got Knox's furry big brother to show off his dapper face, thanks to Momma Kim being just out of frame to keep him in check. She did a wonderful job making sure that Knox was a happy camper, making my job all the easier. I am so happy with how these came out, and managing to pull it all of before the big day was even more impressive. Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there! Enjoy.

The Studdliest Muffin.

The most adorable baby boy had his big reveal, finally. Skylar Jax, born in the final hours of the best month to have a birthday, in all aspects prefers to wait until the last possible moments for everything. Newborn pictures usually require you to wait until the belly button loveliness falls off, and Skylar was not ready to let go. Finally he got with the program, and a week ago we were able to have his newborn shoot. He is the happiest little baby, but even the happiest of boys are not a fan of having to get naked for their first photo shoot. Luckily, he is very much the mommy and daddy's boy. One of my favorite parts of sessions like these is that you get to see the parents interact with the baby in order to keep them calm. Ryan and Bri are such amazing parents to Skylar, and they were able to keep him really comfortable the entire shoot. If he ever got fussy, the moment he was in either one of their arms he was happy as clam. It makes for the most precious candid photos, which are some of my favorites from this shoot. I am so happy to have been able to capture some of the earliest moments with your adorable baby boy, Bri and Ryry. Thank you for letting me stop these moments for you. Enjoy.
