Hear That Baby Purr.

I've been working pretty avidly lately on keeping up with posting on social media after each shoot I've had lately. It can be a bit tedious sometimes, and after I spend a large majority of time staring at a computer screen to prep photos for clients, the last thing I want to do is stare at it longer annnnd have to be witty while doing it. But, I do know how much you all enjoy the sass of my posts (especially you Jessica, that's right, I know you're looking at this and laughing right now) so I do aim to keep on top of it. Although it's not always my favorite thing, the avid pursuit of blasting everyone with my work has really paid off as of late. AJ hit me up a few weeks ago after I went through one of my posting rampages because he wanted to get pictures of his truck done for a magazine he is going to be featured in. We talked deets about what he was going for and set up a shoot for what we came up with. Going back and forth for a few weeks, we brainstormed different things and AJ asked if there were any girls that I knew that would be willing to model with his truck for the shoot. I had a few ideas on who I could ask, but they all came back to my friend Kayla who I knew who be so down to be a model for me. I knew she was coming down to Vegas for Memorial Day, so I texted her and asked her if she would be up for doing it while she was here. She wasn't planning on coming down until the end of the month, but she was able to swing flying in for the weekend of our shoot which just so happened to also fall on Mother's Day. I was super stoked to have everything lined up for the pictures, and it seemed that everything would work out perfectly for us. However, as it usually goes, the weather played a mighty fine mix up on us and decided that it was going to rain where we planned to shoot. So, as we were about to leave to meet up in Red Rock, the rain started pouring down and more or less ruined that idea. Luckily, we talked out ideas because AJ had his truck detailed and didn't want it to go to waste. We opted for the dry lake beds because it would be the furthest area from the storm. Despite the weathers best efforts to foil our plans, we were able to work out some pretty rad shots, and the brooding storm clouds worked in our favor. His truck looked awesome, Kayla worked the evil mood of the storm, and we got these bad ass pictures. Super stoked to see what comes of this for AJ and the truck he has put together. Enjoy.
