You Know How I Do'z.

So it is the end of the semester, thankfully. For my final assignment in my photography class this semester I had to put together a portfolio of pictures that show how I roll with my camera. I must say, that out of all the things that I could take pictures of, I love taking pictures of my peeps. I know I have said it before, but I like the fact that I can capture small moments of time with every picture that I take. The funny faces, the candid shots, things that might not have been seen otherwise. This, is my passion. What keeps me going, spins my world round, and puts a smile on my face. Photography. Here is my assignment, however not my full portfolio, a portfolio nonetheless. Enjoy.

Nobody Wants To Be Spiderman.

My big brother Graham is sometimes a little goofy. I am putting together the final portfolio for my photography class and because I want to do portraits when i become a pro, i asked for some people to sit for me. His first response? I have a sword. Second response? I also have my Superman costume. So, here is his sword and superman action. Enjoy.

Business In The Front. Party In The Back

I am taking a photography class this semester, heading my way into my core classes for my major. I have been taking pictures for a while now, but I am kind of learning some of the basics that I didnt know of before. I had to take pictures of the texture and details of things close up. I had a list of things that I thought would look really good. My friend Christopher helped stimulate my close up eye and these are the results. Although it was my homework this week, I really enjoyed this assignment. Close Ups. Enjoy.

Sugar and Spice.

Chloe Faye is growing up right before my eyes. She will be six months old in just one short week. She is so cute and interested in everything around her. She loves sucking on her moms iPhone and being thrown up in the air. Chloe is as sweet as pie, and as cute as a button. She is going to break some hearts. Enjoy.

A Chunk Of Love.

Emeryck is a little rock star, he needs his trailer a certain temperature, he needs to be well fed, and kept dry in order to be happy during a shoot. After we were able to fully satisfy all his needs, he was a great little model. Meet Emeryck Lawrence, a little chunk of baby love. Enjoy.

Fresh Ink.

There is nothing quite like the sound of a tattoo gun starting up and hitting skin for the start of a new tattoo. Its nerve racking, its painful, and it is the start of a very long process that will require you to squeeze the living daylights out of someones hand. Eddie at Iron Horse Tattoo laid some pretty sick ink on Alyssa of flowers that represent the most important women in her life. Now that I have regained the feeling in my hands, after about 20 hours of tattoo, this is the result. Enjoy.

Loosen Your Pants A Little.

For Christmas my family does a Secret Santa type thing where we all draw names out of a hat and then we buy a pretty nice gift for the person we draw a name for. This way we are all able to get something nice and none of us have to break the bank to get something nice for everyone. This year my mom got me. She is very crafty with gifts, and this year she nailed it.

Last night I put to use the awesome gifts that she got me and got my bake on in the kitchen. Using her cupcake tin and divet thing a ma bob, I made confetti cupcakes with strawberry filling and rainbow chip cupcakes. I also made dark chocolate cake bites with peanut butter chips out of my silicone baking dish All bought from Deena Woobury, an AVON distributor. Of course I measured all my ingredients with the AWESOME glass measuring cups she got me, including a shot glass tablespoon measuring cup, since I collect shot glasses. They came out amazing. If I had eat-o-vision, you would all need to put some sweat pants on for these bad boys. Enjoy.

Things Get Better With Time.

I have come to believe in this statement, "Things get better with time." With all the additions that my family has been making lately, I have also come to create my own version of that saying. Things get better when you put time into them. I have always known my brothers to pick on me, tease me, and torture me for their own personal entertainment. But I have to say, things have been very different lately.

Grahams wedding was last weekend in Draper Utah and we all traveled up there for it. Jordan and his family, Ian and Jill, and I all went up Wednesday night to Brianhead to spend some time snowboarding. I have to say that it was probably the most fun I have ever had with my brothers. Jordan had a rough time snowboarding, but I enjoyed watching someone struggle as much as I did my first time. I was there encouraging him to keep trying, even though he insisted on being Shaun White coming off the lift and hurt himself. Ian stuck with me the whole time, encouraging me to push myself to be better at boarding. He gave me all kinds of help, and taught me several new things. I told him a few times that he didnt have to stay with me because I knew that I was slower than he was. To which he replied, "Why would we leave you behind?"

Jordan, Graham, and Ian have not always been the nicest of brothers to me, but I must say that they are more than making up for it now. Jordan, thank you for talking to me and helping me with my problems lately. I know you have a lot of questions to answer for Reagan, but I like how close we have gotten. Graham, thank you for letting me shoot your wedding, and trusting me to capture those moments with your wife Schaara. You are such a good big brother to me and Im glad you have been there to listen when I needed someone. Ian, thanks for helping me with the simplest of problems that I have, I always appreciate getting your advice on things I'm struggling with.

Schaara, you got yourself a good catch with my big brother Graham. He is a bit of a goof, but he always knows how to lighten up a situation, whether we are laughing at him, or with him. He has a kind heart, and he will be a great father. I enjoyed talking to you and getting to know you a little more through the wedding and I am excited to get to know you more as my sister in law. Welcome to the family. Enjoy.

Chubby Cheeks.

Megan is my little sister. She has her moments, and she can be quite the Taurus. But she is good at heart. Megan had the cutest little girl, Chloe, and she is my little bundle of baby love. She is the most mellow baby ever. She woke up from a nap, and I was holding her on the phone, and she just sat there, looking at the world, and taking it all in. She didnt fuss, she didnt squirm, she just sat there for me. Megan and I have had our rough spots and butting of heads. But Megan has really shown that she is a better mother than I ever thought. She is my little sister, and I am so proud of how she is raising Chloe. Everyone, meet Chloe Faye. She is a bundle of chubby cheek love. Enjoy.

Hey Sista.

Today we added Jill to the family. The wedding was beautiful, of course. Reagan tried his best to walk slow down the isle, but it wasnt quite a success as you can tell by the blurred image he created as he bolted to Jordan. But I can say that I have never seen my brother as happy as I saw him today. Congrats you guys, and Jill, welcome to the family. Enjoy.
